The cause of death of the heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne has been revealed.

According to his death certificate obtained by The New York Times, the legendary locker died of acute myocardial infarction, a heart attack, and an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.

Other contributing factors include coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease, which has autonomic dysfunction.

Osborne passed away on July 22nd at the age of 76.

His death comes just weeks after he reunited with Black Sabbath for the final show for the first time in 20 years. His performance came in a series of health issues for the heavy metal godfather.

In 2020, Osborne revealed that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a nervous system disorder that affects movement. He told Good Morning America that while recovering from pneumonia, the diagnosis came after a fall in 2019. He also revealed in 2020 that he was diagnosed with emphysema, a lung disease.

The “Crazy Train” singer leaves behind six children with his wife Sharon. Kelly, Amy and Jack share with Sharon, and Jessica, Louis and Elliott with his wife Thelma Reilly. He leaves his grandchild behind again.
