“Vandalism criminal activity” in relation to the spectral fiber line over the weekend caused a halt in parts of LA on Sunday, but the company says services have fully recovered.
“Early this morning, our fiber optic line was intentionally cut off in Los Angeles due to vandalism,” the internet and cable provider said in a statement Sunday. The statement did not specify the number of customers affected by the suspension, only revealing that it had an impact on “some residents and businesses.”
The fiber line was cut at multiple locations on the van Nuys.
Los Angeles Spectrum Services have fully recovered after the “villainous criminal conduct” that took place on June 15th, 2025.
In another statement issued to KTLA, the spokesman confirmed that the services had recovered Monday morning.
“We brought in an extra crew, completed repairs as soon as possible, and completed the service restoration this morning,” the spokesman said. “We appreciate our patients’ impacted customers. We provide them with the trust of the day.”

The company offers a $25,000 reward to anyone who provides reliable information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of an individual or individual involved in the theft or vandalism of a spectrum network.
Spectrum also added that “criminal acts of network vandalism” has become increasingly common throughout the telecommunications industry. This is mainly due to the rise in prices of precious metals. That said, spectral officials say their fiber lines don’t have copper.
