Authorities are looking for suspects and are checking whether two overnight home invasion robbers in Los Angeles are linked.
Preliminary information shows one of the incidents occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday at a residence on Otzego Street near Coldwater Canyon Drive in Sherman Oaks.
Videos from scenes obtained by KTLA showed the presence of a large law enforcement agency in front of a gorgeous home as a woman who was distraught while sitting on the curb hugging her baby.

The family barricades in their bedrooms while the two suspects loot the house, and is believed to be called police. What the suspect escaped with anything was not immediately clear, and officials were unable to provide explanations or methods of fleeing the area.

About two hours before the Sherman Oaks home invasion, another residence in the luxury Viva Grove district of LA was attacked by a thief.
According to the first report, three suspects entered the Laurel Avenue home, where people were inside and stole an undisclosed amount of jewels and other valuables.

The suspect had fled the area by the time police arrived, but they remained prominent until 6:30am on Saturday. Further information surrounding the incident was not readily available.

No injuries have been reported in either case and authorities are currently working to determine whether they are connected or not.
