The suspected chase and three passengers were taken into custody after a dangerous high-speed chase that began in downtown LA on Wednesday night.
LA police began pursuing around 10:40pm after the suspect reportedly passed a police skirmish line in the Beverly Boulevard and Wilshire Drive area where officers were trying to contain anti-ice protesters.
From downtown, the driver boards the 110 highway, where he reaches speeds of over 100 mph, interweaving lanes with black lights, lateraling the other drivers, approaching danger.

After creating a southbound lane on the 405 highway just after 11pm, California Highway Patrol officers took over the pursuit, urging the suspect to try a U-turn and attempting to leave the highway in the wrong direction on the on-ramp.

Police immediately appeared behind the suspect and blocked the attempt, but the suspect whipped the vehicle and continued to pursue it, where he left the highway and hit 80 mph on surface streets as the CHP chased the vehicle.
While law enforcement was pursuing the suspect from the air and the ground, it appeared that tires came out near 8th Avenue in LA, where the suspects stopped, rescued the car and continued their pursuit on foot.
The suspect was immediately taken into custody by police, reported Gil Leyvas of Sky5, who was covering the pursuit.
