The first responder rushed to Fullerton Airport on Friday afternoon following a report of a plane crashed shortly after landing.
According to emergency warning app PulsePoint, the crash drop on the single-engine Cessna was reported around 1:05pm.
Federal Aviation Administration officials told KTLA that the plane landed, overshooted the runway, crashed into a light fixture, and hit a fencing at an airport in the 4000 block of West Federal Avenue.
The pilot was the only person on board, the FAA confirmed. Their condition was not immediately clear.

Videos from Sky5 on the scene showed little activity inside or around the airport by 1:30pm
Earlier this year, an experimental aircraft crashed into the roof of a warehouse near Fullerton airport, killing father and daughter residents, and injuring 19 workers at the facility.
In November, two people avoided serious injuries when the plane crashed into a tree near the same airport.
Within minutes of this emergency in Orange County, the plane made an emergency landing at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisard. The three residents of the small plane were not injured.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board investigate the situation leading to both these unexpected emergencies. Preliminary results from FAA surveys are usually posted on its website within 48 hours of the initial report.
