As beautiful as nature, it can also be cruel.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but on Friday morning it appeared that there were two eagles inside Jackie and Shadow’s big bear nest.
The nest, shown in the Friends 24/7 live stream of Big Bear Varley’s Friends, survived a snowstorm on Thursday. Jackie, the mother of three, was protecting me through much of the storm.

At 6am on Friday, Jackie ate the Young Eagles, which he hatched last week. However, during feeding, only two of the three appeared to be present.
In an interview with KTLA on Friday morning, the executive director of Big Bear Varley’s Friends said that Eaglet’s status cannot be determined as snow partially blocks some of the camera’s view.
“We don’t know anything yet, so we can’t confirm anything,” Sandy Stairs said. “We don’t know exactly what the situation is. We have to wait and see.”

Steer added that the behavior of the two chicks currently seen in the nest has no signs of a third condition.
“We don’t know exactly what’s going on. We just look at nature and observe it, and we know that we know what it’s doing,” Steers says. “And Jackie and Shadow know how to deal with whatever the situation is… we need to know that everything works in that intentional way.”
The steers said that if it was too cold during the recent snowstorm, the eagle would not survive.
