The brutal clash sent at least two people to hospital, damaging eight cars and city property in a suburban San Fernando Valley neighborhood on Saturday night.
Los Angeles police confirmed Sunday to KTLA to respond to a call for a two-car crash in the 14,600 block of Pork Street at 11:42pm on May 24th.
Officers arrive and discover that the crash has hit a total of eight vehicles and knocked down the streetlights.
The LA Fire Department said there were two ambulance transports to local hospitals, but no information regarding the victim’s age, gender or condition was available.
Unidentified reports from the Stringer Service Key News Network show that the first collision occurred between the Chevrolet Camaro and the Ford SUV, both of which suffered significant damage from footage shot at the scene.
Witnesses at the scene said the impact of the collision between the two cars sent Ford’s care from a light pole to a nearby chain link fence, and at the same time the Camaro lost control and hit several parking cars on Polk Street.
Officials were unable to immediately provide the identity of the hospitalized patients, but a more unconfirmed report from KNN said both patients were Ford and Camaro drivers. The Ford driver was a woman who was carried with an unknown injury, and the Camaro driver was the first man to be evaluated on the scene by medical professionals.

Witnesses also told KNN that the Camaro appeared to be speeding up the street before the crash, and although authorities did not confirm whether the speed of the incident was speed, neighbors told KTLA they were tired of them moving up and down the intersection.

Some neighbors highlighted this message to KTLA. They say they saw too many cars on the road and want to install a signal light at that intersection.
LAPD said investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the crash and did not say whether impairment was a factor.
