ENGLEWOOD, Calif. (KTLA) – Store surveillance cameras captured the moment several robbers used an allegedly stolen vehicle to break into an Inglewood shoe store Wednesday.
Michael Acevedo, owner of LAX Premier Kicks in Inglewood, told KTLA in an email that the break-in happened in the early morning hours.
Video of the incident shows at least one suspect crashing a car in front of the store, shattering glass and scattering clothing from the store. The driver immediately exits the car and begins picking up the items from the store.
Immediately after the crash, another car pulled into the parking lot and two other suspects got out of the car and ran into the store.

The store, located at 4940 W. Century Blvd., sustained significant damage during the break-in, although the exact amount of stolen goods that the robbers, all believed to be young men, got away with is unknown. .

Acevedo called the robbery unfortunate and said break-ins are at an all-time high since SoFi Stadium and Intuit Dome opened.
“This is the fourth robbery in the past year,” he added.
No arrests appear to have been made in connection with the high-value break-in.
KTLA has reached out to the Inglewood Police Department and is awaiting a response.
